Every Tuesday afternoon, the Stanton Dahl team pauses work and gathers for our All Hands afternoon tea to pause, connect and share. We catch up on what’s happening across the organisation, while enjoying some snacks and jokes. A favourite feature of this time is the ‘Design Shot’, where a different member of the team shares design-related facts, ideas and inspiration of their choosing, strengthening our collective knowledge and creativity.
Creativity is at the heart of what we do, and our Sketch and Sip sessions provide an opportunity to push our artistic boundaries, collaborate and socialise. From freehand drawing and sculpture to playful architectural challenges, these events bring the team together in a relaxed environment.
Each year we celebrate Stanton Dahl Day, making our anniversary as a practice. It’s a day dedicated to reflecting on the work we’ve achieved, celebrating our people, and investing in our wellbeing and team culture. We step away from the studio to connect, recharge, and take part in an activity together, reinforcing our belief that a strong, engaged team is essential to great design.
We believe that architecture has the power to do good, and that extends beyond our projects. Giving back is an integral part of our culture.
We dedicate 1% of our time to pro bono projects, equivalent to three or more projects every year. This supports organisations that align with our mission to serve communities through design.
