Taree Christian College started as a ministry of Taree Baptist Church 33 years ago with a vision to educate young people with a Jesus focus. Since then, the College has impacted thousands of students and continues their uncompromising conviction to offer quality education from a Christian perspective and worldview.
The college is made up of Infants, Primary, Junior Secondary & Senior Secondary and in working with the TCC board (Chris Thornhill) and the college (David Coleman & Andrew Kent), SDA has created a new masterplan that established distinct precincts with a community focus.
The construction of Stage 1 – Year 4-5 building is now completed bringing the college a step closer to owning a new Primary precinct and the new car park has improved the daily kiss-and-drop experience. The open Learning Areas provides collaborative and engaging spaces with the Koori Room providing for the needs of the Indigenous Education. The external landscaping incorporates a “Yarning Circle’ for community socialising.
