Stanton Dahl had the pleasure of hosting a breakfast event in December attended by the CEO’s, Heads of Property and General Manager’s of a variety of aged care providers in NSW.

The attendees discussed lessons openly from the past 12 months including the experiences, challenges and solutions related to bushfires, floods and pandemics and provoked a number of thoughts including:

• How do we provide a home like environment whilst providing care at a clinical level?
• Can and should a 20+ year old facility be upgraded to address outbreak containment strategies?
• How can spaces be designed to achieve great amenity whilst also allowing it to be adapted to a pandemic like situation?
