Working with Mono Constructions & The Land & Housing Corporation, Stanton Dahl are delivering 40 affordable and social housing units within a 6-storey development that plays an important role in the social and economic revitalisation of Gosford City Centre. The area has been identified as a Ministerial priority by the NSW State Government following the release of NSW Government’s Central Coast 2036 Regional Plan.
The challenging steeply sloping site – triggered an unconventional design approach that led to innovative and creative design outcomes. The design adopted podium-tower configuration creating a continuous street wall in line with the desired urban outcome of the area. Timeless materials were carefully selected to create contemporary yet context-aware facades set in harmony with both the existing and the future character of the area.
