Ground is about to be broken for the construction of new Toyota showroom in Croydon

Construction is due to begin shortly on a new two-storey Toyota showroom at 2-14 Parramatta Road, Croydon for the Phil Gilbert Motor Group. This exciting new development aims to provide a new high quality showroom with significant exposure to the passing trade on the busy Parramatta Road.

The development consists of a ground floor showroom for 12 display vehicles and a first floor administration zone. A feature car zone located on the western side of the showroom includes a recessed platform lift enabling the hero car to be raised at night to provide greater statement to the public.

A Construction Certificate has recently been obtained following a lengthy process with Auburn Council due to the proposed showroom being within a Parramatta Road flood zone.

Sitting on the Southern side of the Road, the design carefully responds to the clients brief while ensuring the amenity of the adjoining residences was not compromised.

Phil Gilbert Toyota, when completed in 2016, will be the group’s second new showroom in the suburb of Croydon after the completion of Phil Gilbert Hyundai in 2014.
