Designed to provide secure, accessible, and cost-effective housing, the development comprises a 4-5 storey apartment buildingwith 49 new units, supporting a mix of low-cost rental, private sale, and NRAS-funded residences.
The first 24 units were delivered under the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS), offering affordable rental options to eligible tenants, while the remaining 25 units are available for low-cost rental or private sale, providing a diverse and inclusive housing model. To enhance liveability and foster community interaction, the project also features basement car parking, resident storage facilities, landscaped communal gardens, and BBQ areas.
The architectural design embraces a modern contemporary aesthetic, incorporating a diverse material palette of face brick, render, metal cladding, and operable louvres, creating a visually striking and functional façade. This development is a first of its kind in the area, setting a new precedent for the future character of the suburb, demonstrating how affordable housing can be both well-designed and community-focused.
