The Phillip Street apartments have been designed to meet the requirements of Wentworth Community Housing by providing a high quality affordable housing stock in Greater Western Sydney.
The development was constructed in 2 stages; the first being 24 units built under the National Rental Housing Scheme (NRAS) and Stage 2 providing an additional 25 units available for low cost rental or private sale.
The development stands as a 4-5 storey apartment building stepping down the site. The site also provides basement car parking, storage facilities and common area gardens & bbq areas for the residents.
The building has been designed with a modern contemporary facade, utilising a palette of different materials including face brick, render & paint, metal cladding and operable louvres. This building is a first for the area and sets precedence over the future character for the St Marys area.
