Construction is due to begin this October for 49 social housing apartments being built at 11-15 Phillip Street, St Marys. This exciting new development aims to provide high quality affordable housing stock consisting of 1 & 2 bedroom apartments including accessible dwellings.

The development will consist of 24 of the total 49 units to be built under the National Rental Housing Scheme (NRAS) with the remaining additional 25 units, which will be made available for low cost rental or private sale.

The development contains a total of 49 units spread over 4-5 storeys with basement car parking. The units have been designed with modern open floor plan and have access to storage facilities, common gardens and bbq area.

A modern contemporary facade will grace the streetscape utilising a palette of different colours and materials such as face brick, paint finished cement render, metal wall cladding and operable louvres.

The Phillip Street apartments when completed late 2016 will be a first of their kind for the area and will set a precedent towards the future character for the St Marys locality.
